International Riesling Day is a testament to the enduring allure of Riesling, a grape that has captured the hearts of wine aficionados worldwide.
On Firday March 13th ... a date synonomous with the first written evidence of the grape, dating back to 1435 ... wine lovers from all corners of the globe unite in a harmonious celebration, toasting to the versatility and delightful character of this exceptional varietal.

There are some nine hectares of Riesling under vine on the Estate with plantings dating back to 1957 and Tahbilk’s familiarity with the varietal is second only to that of Marsanne when it comes to Estate white varietals.  Wines produced over time are distinguished by their pronounced bouquet and elegance with wonderful flavour and finesse. 
Highly regarded on the National Wine Show Circuit, Tahbilk Riesling has the propensity to develop added richness, character and complexity with time in the cellar.

Tahbilk 2017 Centennial Riesling
Enjoy Now to 2035 Plus | 10.5% Alcohol
True to the style of our Estate Riesling releases, this 2017 vintage, sourced from vines averaging 50 years of age, exhibits juicy lemon, lime and lifted floral fruit aromas that leads to a similarly styled palate where a taut acidity deliciously refreshes.
It is this acid backbone that has supported the development of further richness and texture out to its release in this Purbrick family centennial year and will continue to support it over a further 10 plus years.

Tahbilk 2025 Riesling
Enjoy Now to 2029/2031 | 11.5% Alcohol
Expressive varietal characteristics and a lively acidity are the hallmarks of Estate Whites from the 2025 vintage, delightfully reflected with this Riesling release.
Bright and juicy lemon/lime and fragrant florals guide you to bright palate of citrus fruits, lime curd and papaya notes, all refreshingly tied together with a crisp and taut acid line. Cellaring is an option ... as is absolute enjoyment now.
