This immersive vineyard experience offers a rare opportunity to walk through the heart of Tahbilk during harvest and explore the stories, decisions and seasons that shape its wines. Guided by Winemaker Jo Nash, guests journey through some of Australia’s most historically significant vineyards, from the 1860 Vines Shiraz and the celebrated 1927 Vines Marsanne to Cabernet Sauvignon plantings from the 1940s.

This year’s Lunch celebrates Greek Melbourne, bringing together some of the city’s most exciting Greek culinary talent with our estate-grown wines.

Enjoy a 45-minute Tahbilk Eco-Cruise through the wetlands on Sunday 15th February. Glide past red gums and native wildlife, hear the story of our award-winning restoration project, and savour a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. Cruises depart at 11am and 2pm — a peaceful, scenic escape at just $10 per person.

This unique 90-minute experience is the perfect way to immerse yourself in the art and science of winemaking. You’ll get a detailed introduction to the two powerhouse varietals of Australian wine—Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz—and learn how oak plays a role in shaping their character.

The Tahbilk billabongs and surrounding woodlands are a thriving natural haven, home to over 62 species of native birds and a rich diversity of wildlife. From the towering canopy of River Red Gums to the leafy mid-layer of wattles and the bustling ground cover of grasses and fallen leaves, each layer of vegetation supports unique animals with specific habitat needs.
