In 1925 Reginald Purbrick purchased Chateau Tahbilk ... one hundred years and five generations later the Tahbilk legacy continues.
For this centennial celebration offering, 2013 vintage Estate Shiraz from vines averaging 32 years in age was fortified with a brandy spirit and then aged in seasoned oak barrels to produce an elegant and perfumed release.
Nutty, spicy aromas of dark berries and violets and a palate with harmonious flavours of chocolate, coffee and walnut finish with a luscious lingering dried fruit sweetness.
A complex and multi-dimensional after-dinner-sipper that will reward time spent in enjoyable contemplation.

We are introducing a rare opportunity to capture of a piece of Tahbilk's history with a limited release Chateau Tahbilk Collector's Edition 2018 Marsanne.
This unique special edition run offers connoisseurs and collectors alike a chance to savour not just a wine, but a piece of the rich and colourful heritage that was Chateau Tahbilk.

"While their Marsanne is deservedly celebrated, the Riesling can also be exceptional. Very pale youthful hue. Delicate aromas, only a hint of maturity. Lime, musk, sweet brown spice, a touch of melon rind richness and summer white florals.
Time in bottle has allowed the richness to develop on the palate, but not forsaking the youthful vigour still apparent. Building lime with floral echoes and a juicy tail. In a fine drinking window now and in the next 2 years."

Widely regarded as one of the world's great fortified wines, this Tahbilk offering brings seductive aromas of orange peel, spice and raisins with background floral hints, to a rich and luscious palate of concentrated coffee, fruitcake, butterscotch and chocolate flavours.

The nose exhibits distinguished aromas of walnut and prune with a complex mix of dried fruits. The palate is deeply flavoured and concentrated with characteristic caramel, toffee, walnut and fruitcake flavours

Drawing on its Estate sourcing this is quintessentially Tahbilk Shiraz albeit in a sparkling form ... layers of dense dark berry fruits and traditional hints of leather and earth are further complexed by time on yeast lees.

Tahbilk’s traditional red winemaking practices of open oak vat fermentation followed by time spent in a mix of large aged and smaller new oak barrels, are honoured with this release.
An honour reflected in the depth of flavour and concentration of this Estate Shiraz release.

Combine a challenging, low-yielding vintage that delivered Estate Reds of great depth of character and concentration with Tahbilk’s traditional red winemaking practices of open oak vat fermentation followed by time spent in a mix of large aged and smaller new oak barrels and you realise a varietally intense Cabernet Sauvignon with robust fruit the driving force.

Recognising the Purbrick family’s generational connection with Tahbilk, and released in the year of their 100 year celebration of involvement on the Estate, this five varietal blend is as complex and interesting as the five Purbrick family generations that were its inspiration.

Vibrant and juicy raspberry and cherry summer fruits are graced with herbal, spice and liquorice notes all enlivened by a fresh and crunchy grape acidity … the future looks distinctly rosy for Estate Grenache releases.

Overflowing with spice, violets and tobacco aromas on a mulbery and bright berry fruits palate ... no wonder our Estate Cabernet Franc wines are so eagerly anticipated each vintage.

Summer is always only a glass away with a bottle of this deliciously dry, inaugural Coueslant Sparkling Rose in the fridge ... vivacious and textural, made for good times with great company

Not hard to understand why this is a perennial favourite with those who enjoy life on the sparkling side, bringing with it as it does a diverse array of subtle peach, melon, red berry and savoury notes; wrapped in a cloak of crisp minerality and yeasty/biscuity characters from its secondary fermentation.

This elegant 100% Chardonnay sparkling ... hence the French term blanc de blanc meaning white from whites ... presents a vibrant nose and palate of juicy stone fruits, with hints of lemon zest and strawberries on a decidedly refreshing, tangy finish.

Forest floor and freshly picked mushroom aromas sit alongside dried blueberries, figs, goji berries and subtle charred oak.
There is a youthfulness on the palate still shining through, lifted by tart blueberry and cranberry juice and more of the dried secondary notes joined by savoury black truffle and charred oak.
