We are introducing a rare opportunity to capture of a piece of Tahbilk's history with our extremely limited run of Chateau Tahbilk Collector's Edition Museum Reds. We've encased our 2015 Shiraz & Cabernet Sauvignon in labels recreated from our past - perhaps familiar to some of our lifetime supporters - paying homage to the rich and colourful heritage of Chateau Tahbilk. This limited run offers connoisseurs and collectors alike a chance to savour not just a wine, but a piece of Tahbilk history. Due to the limited nature of this release we are restricting orders to a maximum of 24 bottles.
Five Estate varietals are blended here to represent each of the five generations of Purbrick family involvement on the Estate .... a bright, expressive and totally delicious ‘Five Generations’ Red.
The low-yielding 2022 vintage has delivered a delicious medium-bodied wine with loads of appeal. Floral, spice and tobacco notes tempt to a palate of mulberry and raspberry fruits framed with a fresh grape astringency.
From the stellar rated 2021 vintage, a close to equal blend of all three component varietals ... Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvèdre ... allows each to very ably bring its own character to the mix. From its bright and savoury red berry and cherry Grenache qualities; to pepper, spice and plummy Shiraz fruits and Mourvèdre’s fleshy, floral and dried herb notes; delicious enjoyment is at hand.

Crafted from Estate plantings that are amongst the oldest original Shiraz vines in the world, this iconic Tahbilk release introduces a fragrant nose of bright red berries mingles with spice, tea leaf and truffle aromas to a velvety palate of dark cherry and plum fruits alongside warm earth and black olive characters.
