About this winei

Tahbilk Marsanne has a dedicated global following due to its thrilling character and appeal as a young wine with intense lemon, citrus and tropical fruits on a crisp mineral edged finish alongside a proven ability to develop added complexity and character if cellared, when rich honeysuckle and citrus marmalade characters come to the fore.
One of the world’s rarest grape varieties with its origins in the Northern Rhone and Hermitage regions of France, Tahbilk has some of the oldest vines and largest single holding of Marsanne in the world.

Tahbilk Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon are crafted with a commitment to traditional winemaking values.
Fermentation takes place in original open oak vats (over 155 years old), followed by maturation in similarly aged large French oak barrels prior to being bottled. Smaller French and American oak barrels are also used, with the wine from these blended back during the final filtering and bottling.
In the face of changing winemaking styles and trends, this has remained the way over the years, delivering wines of true provenance and reflective of each vintage.

Tasting Notei

Tahbilk 2024 Marsanne | Enjoy Now to 2032/2034
Whilst presenting its own challenges as whites and reds ripened together bringing on a mad rush, vintage 2024 delivered very good to outstanding wines.
The fruit intensity of our 2024 Marsanne is signature to this unique varietal ... lifted citrus and tropical fruits are framed by a bright minerality with delicious toast and honeysuckle richness undoubtedly coming with age.

Tahbilk 2021 Shiraz | Enjoy Now to 2033/2036
This Estate Shiraz from the stellar 2021 vintage sets a high bar for richness and complexity.
Bright and expressive spice and savoury notes swirl deliciously through a deeply flavoured dark plum and berry fruits palate supported by supple, chewy tannins. Enjoyment now or cellaring out to 2033/2036 are both very satisfying options.

Tahbilk 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon | Enjoy Now to 2036/2038
The stellar rated 2021 vintage has delivered a Cabernet Sauvignon where it is the richness of fruit that resonates.
Deep cassis, mint and dark plum aromas and flavours are nuanced with bay leaf, black olive and clove notes.
Fine grainedtannins will support further complexity to develop out to 2036/2038 should you have the willpower to not just savour this true-to-Estate Cabernet Sauvignon now.
