Tahbilk Farewells Beloved Family Matriarch Bonnie Purbrick

It is with great sadness that the Tahbilk family announces the passing of Bonnie Purbrick, a cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, and much-loved matriarch of the Purbrick family.

Bonnie, mother of Alister, Debbie and Mark Purbrick, passed away peacefully on June 13th at the age of 97.

While her passing brings sadness, it also provides an opportunity to reflect on and celebrate a remarkable life. Bonnie was a woman of strength, independence, determination and grace, whose influence extended far beyond her family. Her warmth, resilience and passion for life touched countless people throughout the community and will continue to inspire those who knew her.

Throughout her 97 years, Bonnie embraced life with enthusiasm and purpose, leaving a lasting legacy through her family, friendships and the many lives she enriched along the way.

Celebrating Bonnie's Life

Family, friends and all those whose lives were touched by Bonnie are warmly invited to join in celebrating her life on Wednesday, 24th June.

Service Details

11:00am – Funeral Service at Nagambie Presbyterian Church

12:15pm – Burial at Nagambie Cemetery

1:00pm – Wake at the Tahbilk Estate Restaurant

The wake will provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together, share stories, reflect on treasured memories, and honour Bonnie's extraordinary life and enduring contribution to those around her.
