Selected from the best of the best that we produce at Tahbilk Estate the 2018 Eric Stevens Purbrick Shiraz delivers concentration and depth. Ripe dark and red berry fruits are nuanced with liquorice, earth and ground black pepper notes. Savoury oak characters and seamless tannins contribute a truly distinctive release.

Selected from the best of the best that we produce at Tahbilk Estate, the 2018 Eric Stevens Purbrick delivers a truly sublime 'best of vintage' release. Rich, black-currant and dark fruits, eucalypt notes and earthy, gamey characters immediately engage on the nose and palate where Asian five spice and savoury hints add further complexity.

With a contributing average vine age of over 35 years Tahbilk 'Old Vines' Cabernet Shiraz releases set a new standard for such blends from the Estate.

Character and complexity define this bottle-aged Museum Cabernet Sauvignon.
Forest floor and freshly picked mushroom aromas sit alongside dried blueberries, figs, goji berries and subtle charred oak.
There is a youthfulness on the palate still shining through, lifted by tart blueberry and cranberry juice and more of the dried secondary notes joined by savoury black truffle and charred oak.

From Estate Shiraz vines that date back to Tahbilk’s founding in 1860, to our more plantings of Grenache and Mourvedre we have an enduring history with these varietals. Whilst presenting its own challenges with a mad rush of ripening, vintage 2024 delivered very good to outstanding wines, deliciously reflected here with this juicy, multilayered triple blend, Savoury and earthy aromatics grace a flavoursome palate of dark plum and berry fruits with liquorice and spice notes.

Teamed with Shiraz and Mourvèdre in our popular GSM blend, and equally in the highly regarded Grenache Mourvèdre Rose, here we allow our Estate Grenache to stand alone and shine in its own right.

Notwithstanding the most challenging of years, including a 1 in 100-year flood event, releases from vintage 2023 shine with a wonderful depth of flavour and character as reflected in this Cabernet Franc release …
