    About this winei

Tahbilk 2018 'Eric Stevens Purbrick' Cabernet Sauvignon
    Halliday 96 Points | Enjoy Now to 2038 Plus | 14.5% Alcohol
The 2018 vintage delivered bright and true-to-varietal reds with concentration and depth of flavour no better illustrated than with this ‘Eric Stevens Purbrick’ Cabernet.
Rich, black-currant and dark fruits, eucalypt notes and earthy, gamey characters immediately engage on the nose and palate where Asian five spice and savoury hints add further complexity. A truly sublime ‘best of vintage’ release that will reward those cellaring out to 2038 and beyond.

Tahbilk 2016 'Museum Release'  Cabernet Sauvignon
    Halliday 91 Points | Enjoy Now to 2030/2034 | 14.0% Alcohol
Great colour evolution reflecting time spent in bottle. Aged, also known as secondary, characters immediately hit the nose. Forest floor, mulch, freshly picked mushrooms. The fruit is dried; dried blueberries, dried figs, dried goji berries. Subtle charred oak creating depth of aromas on the nose. Their is a youthfulness on the palate still shining through, lifted by tart blueberry and cranberry juice. More of the dried secondary notes on the palate ... savoury black truffle and charred oak. This aged Cabernet Sauvignon is full of complexity and tannins providing a lovely backbone to the wine and supporting further development.

    Tahbilk 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon
    Enjoy Now to 2035/2040 | 14.0% Alcohol
Faced with a challenging growing season, that included a 1 in 100-year flood event, the 2023 vintage delivered wines of great depth of flavour and character … releases we are justifiably proud to share. Standing tall among them is our Cabernet Sauvignon.
A very much true to Estate offering with fruit driving its appeal. Crushed dark and blue berries, earth and bay leaf inputs, mint and baking spices; all contribute to a stylish wine of persistence and charm.

Tahbilk 'Landmark Series' 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon
Enjoy Now to 2036/2038 |14.0% Alcohol
This ‘Landmark Series’ 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, and its 2025 Cabernet Franc brother, celebrates the Estate’s priceless inheritance of extensive and much revered vineyard plantings. Undeniably Tahbilk in character and style, a lifted nose of cassis and spice leads to a similarly flavoured, fresh and rounded palate of forest herbs, ripe berries and black olives, along with the merest suggestion of the earthy and savoury complexity to come with more time in the cellar.
    You’ll love it!

Tahbilk Wine Club 2024 Pickers Break Cabernet Sauvignon
