Purchased by Reginald Purbrick in 1925, five generations of the Purbrick family have been actively involved at Tahbilk bringing a tradition of pride, hard work and a love of good wine to their unique heritage of being the oldest family-owned winery and vineyard in Victoria.

After a challenging 2023 vintage the Estate saw an early and successful harvest in 2024 with yields down but quality very good to exceptional.
Drawing on the individual character of each varietal, the winemaking team have delivered a white that resonates with lifted citrus, tropical and stone fruit characters.

Drawing on various parcels of Estate fruit from the very highly rated 2021 vintage the winemaking team have delivered a bright and expressive ‘Five Generations’ Red.
Offering spicy and expressive, dark and red berry Shiraz fruits, mulberry and herbal Cabernet Franc flavours, through to savoury and cherry Tempranillo notes, with brooding and fleshy Mourvèdre and minty, cassis Cabernet Sauvignon hints.
Each variety, like the family over time, contributing its own unique character. Absolutely delicious now and out to 2026/2028.
