As the vines begin to turn and the air carries that gentle shift into autumn, Easter arrives at Tahbilk as a moment to gather, explore and spend time together outdoors.
On Friday 4 April, we invite families and friends to join us for a special Easter Egg Hunt across the estate. Designed for all ages, the experience blends discovery, fresh air and a little seasonal celebration in a setting that feels relaxed and welcoming.
Guests will meet in the Cellar Door Yard at the start of their chosen session, with times available at 10.00am, 12.00pm and 2.00pm. From there, participants will follow a trail of clues that guide them through the grounds, collecting eggs along the way. The hunt is designed to be enjoyed at your own pace. Children can delight in the search, while adults take in the surroundings and share the experience.
This is not about rushing to the finish. It is about wandering beneath the trees, noticing small details and allowing the estate to become part of the story. The clues encourage curiosity and shared discovery, making it an experience that works just as well for older guests as it does for the youngest participants.
At the conclusion of the Easter Egg Hunt, everyone returns to the Cellar Door Yard. Each participant receives an Easter gift, and adults are invited to enjoy a complimentary glass of Tahbilk wine as a small reward after the search.
For those wishing to linger a little longer, a cheese platter will be available on the day while stocks last. It is an opportunity to settle in, enjoy a glass of wine and make the most of the afternoon together.
The Easter Egg Hunt is a free event, with each session limited to 80 guests to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Bookings are essential, and if your plans change, we kindly ask that you let us know so we can offer your place to someone else.
