Don't Just Take Our Word For It ...
Tahbilk 2021 'Old Vines' Cabernet Shiraz
"The classic, unique Aussie blend meets old vines and a top vintage year and the result is so, so good. To be precise, it affords a taste of two contrasting grapes totally integrated as one, meshing black and red berries, herbs, leaves, briar and earth and spice in an elegant, balanced whole. Smooth and bright in tannins. Made to last."

Tahbilk 2022 Shiraz
"I can’t reiterate enough how good the value is of these wines.
Cherry kirsch with a dusty profile, blackberry, beetroot chocolate cake, cool mint and young eucalyptus leaves, white pepper, just roasted meats pulled from the oven and a little char. Just medium bodied, with a crunchy acidity and dusty, fine tannin. There’s a little coconutty oak, but otherwise bursting with rustic exuberance.
Will live for years. Great value."

Tahbilk 2016 Shiraz | Museum Release
"This is the juiciest Tahbilk Shiraz I’ve had in years – it’s all plump jubey purple fruit, though with a decent dose of Tahbilk earth and complete with light tannins. Quite a departure from the traditionally rustic style but a rather pleasant and jubey red. Tahbilk Shiraz does modern (and with a swish polish).”

Tahbilk 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon
"Australians are blessed to be able to enjoy wines of this quality at such reasonable prices. This is one of the stars of a new release package from Tahbilk, a Central Victorian winery that was established back in 1860 and is one of Australia's oldest family-owned wineries. It has been owned and operated by the Purbrick family for a century. Think dark blackcurranty fruit matured mainly in older oak, hints of herbs, spice and classic mint. Very food-friendly and versatile and extremely affordable for a wine that could grace any dinner party."

Tahbilk 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon | Museum Release
"From 28ha of Estate vines dating back to '49, matured for 18 months in predominantly French oak.
In typical Tahbilk fashion, medium-bodied and well structured, has blackcurrant fruit, bramble, earth and bay leaf inputs at various points along the journey.
Taken together, the fruit swells in the mouth, asserting the great value this wine offers."

Dalfarras 2023 Sangiovese
"Sweet fruited, upfront and fresh, this is the perfect everyday red.
Straightforward all the way but mighty tasty in red cherries, plum, earth and herbs with a lick of spice. Supple, evenly balanced with some juicy tannin crunch.
Don't overthink it, just enjoy."
