About this winei

About The Tower range...

‘The Tower’ range is crafted exclusively for the Export market. The unique export label celebrates an icon of the Tahbilk Estate.

Tahbilk’s pagoda-style lookout tower, designed by Tahbilk’s visionary manager of the day Francois Coueslant, was built in 1882 and played an integral role in early winemaking, gravity-feeding the crushed grapes to the fermenters and cellars below. It also provided a point of elevation in an otherwise flat landscape from which vineyard workers and their supervisors could be observed.

Now the Tower serves as marker of Tahbilk's history and quality and is recognised around the world.
