About this winei
An independent, family owned winery established in 1968, McPherson Wines has steadily established itself as Australia’s least well known top twenty winery, happily enjoying their under the radar reputation as a quality, efficient and innovative winemaker for those in the know.
 
McPherson wines are made to be easy-drinking, fruit driven styles with generous mouth-filling flavours. For almost 40 years the McPherson family have been committed to producing high quality wines at an affordable price.
 
Made with care, the Chardonnay grapes are picked at a ripeness destined to make a textural, balanced wine. The juice is pressed off the skins and has been placed in French oak puncheons. The wines goes through partial malolactic fermentation after primary ferment to give it some extra body as well as soft acidity. The wine is left on lees for 10 months before gentle fining and bottling.
