There are some nine hectares of Riesling under vine on the Estate with plantings dating back to 1957 and Tahbilk’s familiarity with the varietal is second only to that of Marsanne when it comes to Estate white varietals.
Wines produced over time are distinguished by their pronounced bouquet and elegance with wonderful flavour and finesse.
Highly regarded on the National Wine Show Circuit - 6 Trophies, 40 Gold, 98 Silver and 294 Bronze Medals awarded to date - Tahbilk Riesling has the propensity to
develop added richness, character and complexity with time in the cellar.
Enjoy Now
At its peak of development and in the zone to enjoy over the next three to six months, Tahbilk 2017 'Cellar Release' Riesling is pale yellow in colour with a nose and palate of fragrant toasty characters with some lingering classic Estate Riesling acidity to carry it through to a medium weight finish.
Pour alongside pungent blue or soft white-rind cheeses.
