May at Tahbilk: A Cabernet Worth the Wait Featuring the 2015 Centennial Old Block Cabernet Sauvignon

Some wines are made for everyday enjoyment. Others are made to mark the passage of time—to deepen, to evolve, and to speak of something lasting. Our 2015 Centennial Old Block Cabernet Sauvignon is one of those wines. And this May, it takes its place as our Focus Wine of the Month at Tahbilk Estate.

Crafted from some of our oldest Cabernet vines, planted on the estate in 1949, this wine celebrates both heritage and longevity. Released to mark 100 years of family ownership in 2025, the 2015 vintage has been cellared in ideal conditions—now entering its peak expression, showing remarkable structure, elegance, and layers of dark fruit, cedar, and fine, integrated tannins.

Tasting Daily at Tahbilk Cellar Door

Tahbilk Wine Club Members visiting the estate can experience the 2015 Centennial Old Block Cabernet firsthand with a complimentary Variety Tasting ($10 non-members) at our historic Cellar Door. It’s a chance to slow down, savour, and taste a wine that bridges past and present—offered in a setting that feels equally timeless.

Premium Cabernet Tasting – One Weekend Only

For something extra special, join us over the weekend of 24–25 May for a one-off premium Cabernet tasting.
