Dalfarras is about the enjoyment of wine, art and family.
Alister as the winemaker, his wife Rosa as a creative soul who brings her passion for the natural landscape into her works and a vibrancy to the Dalfarras labels (as well as providing her maiden name Dal Farra to its naming), and their daughter Hayley, bringing a new generational perspective; as well as an energy and passion for the environment.
Working together as ‘partners in crime’ the Purbrick family trio offer a range of carbon neutral, premium wines under distinctive artworks. The Artwork on this particular wine is called Nellie’s Fish. Inspired by Rosa's friend Nellie who describes this artwork well with her saying 'Fish live in the river, fish live in the sea, this fish fell out of a tree'.
Don't take our word for it ...
"Apple, citrus and pineapple flavours drive a pretty good deal here. It’s flavoursome and lively and does enough to keep you satisfied throughout. Good buying/drinking." Campbell Mattinson | www.winefront.com.au
"Pale lemon in hue with a hint of green. Green pear skin, candle wax, candle smoke, bath soap, lime juice and ginger ale spice. Lightly framed but still holding onto some waxy texture for varietal lines. Fresh and clean with green stone fruit bite through the finish." www.vinonotebook.com
