Crafted from Estate plantings that are amongst the oldest original Shiraz vines in the world, this iconic Tahbilk release introduces a fragrant nose of bright red berries mingles with spice, tea leaf and truffle aromas to a velvety palate of dark cherry and plum fruits alongside warm earth and black olive characters.
Further complexity to be realised if cellared.

The last of our Estate Whites from the very good to exceptionally rated 2024 vintage, this Chardonnay is typical to the Tahbilk style ... melon, white peach and citrus fruits alongside spice and butterscotch notes from its time in oak ... a most attractive and decidedly refreshing release.

Raisin aromas and nutty rancio characters on a palate that is all rich, sweet raisin fruit with an almost treacle-like consistency and complexity of flavours from decades in old oak casks.

A bouquet of marinated Christmas cake fruits, dates and figs on a palate that is rich and long, long, long.
Nutty rancio characters dominate backed up by the figs and dates, then at the end a hint of green tea cleans the palate to that long, dry finish.

Ripe dark and red berry fruits are nuanced with liquorice, earth and ground black pepper notes. Savoury oak characters and seamless tannins contribute a truly distinctive release.

For this centennial celebration offering, 2013 vintage Estate Shiraz from vines averaging 32 years in age was fortified with a brandy spirit and then aged in seasoned oak barrels to produce an elegant and perfumed release.
Nutty, spicy aromas of dark berries and violets and a palate with harmonious flavours of chocolate, coffee and walnut finish with a luscious lingering dried fruit sweetness.
A complex and multi-dimensional after-dinner-sipper that will reward time spent in enjoyable contemplation.

These limited release wines are produced from the Estate’s 1927 planted Marsanne vines – some of the oldest in the world.

In 1925 Reginald Purbrick purchased Chateau Tahbilk ... one hundred years and five generations later the Tahbilk legacy continues, and there could be no better white wine to celebrate that legacy than Estate Marsanne.
From a multiple award-winning vintage, and drawing on fruit from vines averaging over 90 years of age, its lemon citrus and tropical fruits and delightful minerality have been further complexed with bottle age contributing trademark honeysuckle and toasty notes.
This is character writ large.

We are introducing a rare opportunity to capture of a piece of Tahbilk's history with a limited release Chateau Tahbilk Collector's Edition 2018 Marsanne.

Drawing on fruit that was picked from vines averaging 60 years in age, bright and captivating floral, spice and honeysuckle notes herald this Marsanne as a more than worthy celebratory release.
Background toasty elements from its time on yeast lees, along with time in the bottle, has given this distinctive sparkling further richness and complexity … cheers!

Exhibiting all of the character Marsanne aficionados would expect from a Tahbilk release with some bottle age ...
Lemon gold in colour. The nose is lofted and fresh as a daisy still fantastic mouth-watering classic Marsanne acidity shining through.
Lemon and lime then lead into a nutty and marzipan characters hinting at the further aging potential of this wine.

Widely regarded as one of the world's great fortified wines, this Tahbilk offering brings seductive aromas of orange peel, spice and raisins with background floral hints, to a rich and luscious palate of concentrated coffee, fruitcake, butterscotch and chocolate flavours.

The nose exhibits distinguished aromas of walnut and prune with a complex mix of dried fruits. The palate is deeply flavoured and concentrated with characteristic caramel, toffee, walnut and fruitcake flavours

Notwithstanding the most challenging of years, including a 1 in 100-year flood event, releases from 2023 shine with wonderful depth of flavour and character.
Fully realised here with this immediately appealing savoury, fleshy and multi-layered blend, offering dark berry and plum fruits, some spicy, gamey notes and finely textured tannins.

A generously flavoured, limited-release Estate blend delivering abundant dark berry, plum and spice characters on the nose and palate, alongside cassis, mint and dried herb notes.
Immediate enjoyment is a given or alternatively further complexity will be realised with medium-term cellaring!

This Estate Shiraz sets a high bar for richness and complexity.
Bright and expressive spice and savoury notes swirl deliciously through a deeply flavoured dark plum and berry fruits palate supported by supple, chewy tannins.

The stellar rated 2021 vintage has delivered a Cabernet Sauvignon where it is the richness of fruit that resonates.
Deep cassis, mint and dark plum aromas and flavours are nuanced with bay leaf, black olive and clove notes.

Five Estate varietals are blended here to represent each of the five generations of Purbrick family involvement on the Estate .... a bright, expressive and totally delicious ‘Five Generations’ Red.

Teamed with Shiraz and Mourvèdre in our popular GSM blend, and equally in the highly regarded Grenache Mourvèdre Rose, here we allow our Estate Grenache to stand alone and shine in its own right.
And shine it does ... vibrant and expressive ... a wine for here and now ... and tomorrow!

Notwithstanding the most challenging of years, including a 1 in 100-year flood event, releases from vintage 2023 shine with a wonderful depth of flavour and character as reflected in this Cabernet Franc release …

Offering a diverse array of subtle peach, melon, red berry and savoury notes; wrapped in a cloak of crisp minerality and yeasty/biscuity characters from its secondary fermentation.

Drawing on the 'Blanc de Blancs' style, this elegant 100% Chardonnay sparkling presents a vibrant nose and palate of juicy stone fruits, with hints of lemon zest and strawberries on a decidedly refreshing, tangy finish.

Lifted and expressive with a texture and palate weight reflective of the French Pinot Gris style, fresh floral and spice notes usher in this Estate 2024 vintage release that then guide you to a bright, fruit-driven palate where citrus and pear fruits are joined by apple and honeysuckle notes.

Representing the five generations of Purbrick family involvement on the Estate the winemaking team have drawn on the individual character of each of the five varietals that are blended here to deliver a white that resonates with lifted citrus, tropical and stone fruit characters.

2024 Verdelho brings with it distinctive tropical, citrus and crunchy green apple characters.
Finishing with a neat bow of signature bright and zesty acidity, this is yet another broadly appealing release that will only add further to its ever-growing fan base.

A vivacious early drinking wine of considerable character, this is a true to form Estate Viognier ... classic ginger spice and rose petal aromas surround a palate of stone fruits and honeysuckle notes.
