Visit
Step into a hidden oasis in Victoria where the natural landscape blends to complement a rich winemaking heritage. An easy day trip from Melbourne (90 minutes), Shepparton (40 minutes), Bendigo (60 minutes) - the list goes on! Established in 1860 and purchased by the Purbrick family in 1925, Tahbilk captures the hearts and minds of visitors to Nagambie as a beautiful and historic family owned winery whose timeless appearance opens the imagination.

If you are driving don't forget we're not the only great winery in the area. There is also Mitchelton and our Strathbogie ranges friends, Fowles plus we're also a stone's throw away from Heathcote or Rutherglen. Sounds like a weekend road trip to me! Information on Nagambie can be found at www.nagambielakestourism.com.au.

The Wine Companion Winery of the year awards recognise the very best of Australian wine produced at vineyards across the country. The Winery of the Year is one of six major awards. The award is delivered by James Halliday AM, founder and author of the Halliday Wine Companion.
"I feel incredibly proud of all that the Purbrick family has achieved at Tahbilk over the generations and this award recognises our unswerving commitment to traditional winemaking whilst using innovative and sustainable viticultural practices. This is definitely one for the team at Tahbilk and I thank everyone who has made a contribution over our 155 years of existence."
