There is no mistaking the 2005 vintage release as a Tahbilk Shiraz - a deep red/magenta colour in the glass, aromas of plums & spice with background peppery hints lead to a solidly constructed palate of blackberry, plum and anise fruits with firm but not overly intrusive tannins on the finish.

A rock solid wine that will please the faithful as well as leading new converts to the Tahbilk Shiraz altar!

I intend worshipping a few bottles now with Grilled Double Lamb Chops or perhaps Pasta with Prosciutto, Cheese and Sage but I would also recommend leaving a few for later pilgrimages.
